Police tried to question Jonathon Walker about an assault case but it turned into struggle. Walker allegedly pointed an object which police regarded as a weapon and reacted by shooting him in the head. It turned out Walker was not the man they were looking for and the object was a glass pipe used form smoking crack cocaine. He suffered permanent brain damage and was awarded a $750,000 out of court settlement. (Apr-28-05) [WAVY NEWS]
