Mario Goico was a veteran pilot who worked at Boeing's Kansas plant for more than 20 years. At the age of 59, Goico was denied assignment as a test pilot and filed a lawsuit against Boeing for age discrimination. In November, a federal jury awarded Goico a $2.5 million settlement but both sides appealed the decision; the new terms of the settlement will remain confidential. (May-21-05) [ABC LOCAL]
