In 1995, nine month old Emily Hernandez was raped and murdered by her mother's live in boyfriend, Luis Rojas. The state of Connecticut has awarded a $250,000 settlement to be put into trust for Emily's four siblings. Rojas is currently serving a 33 year prison sentence. Emily's biological parents Jose Hernandez and Hilda Rodriguez signed away their parental claims to any of the settlement money. (Jun-11-05) [NEWSDAY]
