A group of customers that entered into service contracts with the lender between January 1, 2003, and December 1, 2004 filed a lawsuit against Cash Connects for allegedly charging customers higher than allowed fees for Internet service and for operating without a small loan company license. Approximately 4,500 eligible customers will be provided with claims notices from the Indiana attorney general's office to receive their share of the $400,000 settlement. (Jun-16-05) [INDY STAR]
