Dr. Ali Al-Mudamgha and Saint Joseph's Hospital

In 2001, 26-year-old Andrew Luke of Baldwinsville died after a hole was torn in the wall of his heart while his pacemaker was being replaced. Doctor Ali Al-Mudamgha has agreed to pay $2.9 million dollars and the carrier for Saint Joseph's Hospital will pay $200,000 towards the medical malpractice and wrongful death settlement.
