Dr. Paul Hamburg

An associate director at Massachusetts General Hospital and an assistant professor of psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Paul Hamburg has settled a sexual abuse lawsuit for $750,000. The plaintiff, a former patient, filed the lawsuit against the doctor in 2001 after over four years of psychiatric visits. While Hamburg received validation as a respected clinician, he was charged for sexual abuse with a patient. The Board of Registration in Medicine suspended his license indefinitely.
