Electronic Data Systems Corp.

Britain's HM Revenue & Customs sought compensation from the Texas based company for problems with the IT system developed for the 2003 launch and operation of its tax credits system. Revenue & Customs claimed several tax credits were not paid out because of faults with the system and has since dropped the company as its technology adviser. Electronic Data Systems is set to pay a $121.8 million compensation settlement. (Nov-22-05) [BUSINESS WEEK]
