For ten years, Timothy Fletcher was being treated for morbid obesity by doctors employed by the practice group. In 2001, at the age of 39, Timothy died of a heart attack. His widow, Johanna Fletcher filed a medical malpractice and wrongful death lawsuit against the estate of Kominsky & Kubacki alleging a number of warnings that Timothy had diabetes and cardiovascular disease were ignored.
