Federated Investors allegedly allowed mutual fund trades by a few investors that harmed many others. The company allegedly violated late trading and market timing regulations. Federated Investors agreed to pay $100 million to settle charges. The money will be spent on paying investors harmed by the trades. (Nov-29-05)
