Global Medical Systems and its Drs. Jarris

Cuong Dang moved to the United States from Vietnam in hopes for a better life. He took a well paying job aboard a fishing vessel on the Bering Sea. Less than three weeks out to sea, the 37-year-old suffered complications related to diabetes. Medical care was distant and tenuous aboard the Northern Eagle trawler and Dang died from his treatable illness. Dang's wife, Khung Thi Lam, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Global Medical Systems and its Dr. Jarris, claiming the doctor failed to provide adequate treatment.
