University of the Cumberlands

Jason Johnson has reached a settlement with the University of the Cumberlands after being expelled for being gay.

The University discovered that he was gay from a posting on his MySpace.com page and expelled him from the university stating that his sexual orientation violated a school policy. The university also planned to give the honor student failing grades in all of his classes in addition to the expulsion. The settlement allows Johnson to keep his grades. (Apr-20-06) [WKYT NEWS]
