InterDigital Communications filed a lawsuit against the handset maker regarding a patent dispute over GSM/GPRS/EDGE phones and network equipment. Nokia allegedly failed to re-negotiate a licensing agreement for 3G mobile products that it was selling. Nokia will pay $235 million to InterDigital Communications to settle the patent dispute.
