Maximus Inc.

Maximus Inc. allegedly defrauded consumers by giving bogus guarantees of computer equipment leases signed by two former employees. The company is a leading provider of government services and also provides computer and consulting services to the public sector. Maximus has settled the lawsuit filed against it in Georgia for $10 million. Another similar lawsuit was settled in Pennsylvania in September 2005. (Jul-03-06) [HOUSTON CHRONICLE]
