Nektar Therapeutics

In the 1990s former University of Alabama (UAH) chemistry Professor Milton Harris formed a company based on research that took place at UAH and sold it to Nektar Therapeutics (formerly Inhale Therapeutic Systems, Inc.) in 2001 for $164 million.
