Euro Cement Group

The Russian federal government filed charges against the cement maker for violating antitrust laws. Moscow court approved a Federal Anti-Monopoly Service order for Euro Cement to pay the government a fine of 267 million rubles or $9.9 million. Euro Cement must also inform regulators if it raises cement prices by more than 5% in three months or purchases more than 15% of another cement maker. (Aug-29-06) [ST. PETERSBURG TIMES]
