The U.S. government filed a whistleblower lawsuit against the South Carolina defense contractor that makes armored vehicles for the Pentagon. The lawsuit claimed Force Protection failed to advance payments to expedite production of armored vehicles for the U.S. military. Perry Chomyn and Robin Swain were former employees and will receive $315,000 as their share of the proceeds of the $1.8 million settlement. (Aug-30-06) [MYRTLE BEACH ONLINE]
