Fort Lauderdale - The US Department of Justice investigated the leading provider of newborn, maternal-fetal and pediatric physician subspecialty services company related to Medicaid and TRICARE fraud for neonatal services provided from January 1996 through December 1999. Pediatrix Medical Group has finalized its previously announced agreement and has paid the US Department of Justice $25.1 million. As part of the settlement, Pediatrix has also entered into a five-year Corporate Integrity Agreement with the Office of the Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services.
