Micromet Inc.

Cambridge - Drug developer Curis Inc. filed charges against its former collaborator for due payments. Curis had entered a collaboration arrangement with Micromet that included the sale to Micromet of certain Curis assets in exchange for certain items including a promissory note which obligated Micromet to pay Curis up to approximately $5.7 million. Curis asserted that conditions triggering payment of $2.5 million happened with Micromet's recent merger with Cancervax. Micromet will pay Curis $1.3 million by November 1, 2006 and another $1.3 million by May 31, 2007. (Oct-03-06) [HOUSTON CHRONICLE: MICROMET]
