Steve Souphanthong

Los Angeles - EchoStar Communications Corp. and DirecTV Group Inc. filed a lawsuit against the operator of B-Tech Distribution for illegally pirating satellite TV services. Canadian Souphanthong was allegedly one of the largest manufacturers of piracy software and devices in North America. The companies have reached a $500,000 settlement with Souphanthong.
