This is a settlement for the DUI/DWI lawsuit.
Northampton County: On March 5, 2006 18-year-olds Michael Cummings and Kyle Kehler and high-school junior Amanda Schultz were driving in Kyle's mother's car when they crashed into a tree in Palmer Township. Kyle was speeding and driving drunk after a night of partying. Michael and Amanda were killed in the crash and Kyle was seriously injured. Michael's parents, Vicki and Robert Cummings Jr., filed a lawsuit against Allstate because they carried underinsured motorist coverage through their own insurance. Northampton County Judge William Moran approved a $100,000 settlement. (Oct-19-06)
