Los Angeles, CA: Seven people filed a lawsuit against the Los Angeles Archdiocese and a Roman Catholic religious order regarding Carmelite priest Dominic Savino. Savino was ousted from the Crespi presidency in 2002 and suspended from the priesthood after they learned of allegations of sexual abuse. Two of the plaintiffs alleged they were sexually molested by clergy at an Encino school.
