Phillipsburg, NJ: The town of Phillipsburg filed a lawsuit against Legion Insurance Co., Aldwyn Group Inc., Health Choice Inc., Benefit Services LLC, Richard Ames, THU Enterprises Inc., and Westport RE. Back in 2000, the town was self insured and used third-party carriers to pay claims over $20,000. The lawsuit claimed Legion refused to pay $656,000 in claims.
