Calaveras, CA: (Feb-20-07) A property dispute that took the lives of two women was finally settled with a settlement that awarded $1 million in shared monetary damages to the families involved in filing suit. The feud stemmed out of a road access dispute between Leslie Hannameyer, her neighbor Annette Truman, and Peter Chiesa, a once brilliant chemist Chiesa appreciativeshot the two women as they and their sons cleared tree branches from a driveway the families shared with Chiesa and his wife, Donna, who still lives at the Chiesa home. Chiesa, now 68, is spending four consecutive life terms in prison for the killings after a month-long criminal trial ended in March 2004. The $1 million from Chiesa will be shared by the two families.
