Los Angeles, CA: (Feb-26-07) A lawsuit between Applied Business Software, Inc. (ABS) against Freedom Financial & Trust, LTD (FFTL) was settled with a federal judge ordering FFTL to pay ABS $1,143,600. The lawsuit alleged that FFTL breached its contract with ABS as well as infringed ABS copyrights. According to the settlement, FFTL will wind up its operations and it has assigned to ABS certain preferred position rights.
