Paul Crawford's Estate

Huntington, WV: (Feb-28-07) Robert Stoops and Paul Crawford were both killed after Crawford's truck struck a tree on Virginia 122 in Franklin County. Bridget Stoops filed a $5 million lawsuit against Crawford's estate in 2005, claiming that Crawford failed to maintain proper control of his vehicle and was intoxicated and hence responsible for the death of her husband. Following that, Bridget Stoops, was killed in a four-vehicle wreck in Fluvanna County, leaving her son Cameron, 8, the sole recipient of the $675,000 settlement reached with Crawford's estate.
