LAWSUITS NEWS & LEGAL INFORMATION
I.E.L. Manufacturing Ltd.
This is a settlement for the Defective Product lawsuit.
Honolulu, HI: (Mar-11-07) A class action lawsuit was filed against Mark Wenzel, owner of Interlock Industries, Future Roof and several other aluminum roof manufacturing and installation companies, all under license of I.E.L. Manufacturing Ltd. by consumers who suffered when the roofing contractor closed up shop, leaving them with leaky roofs, useless lifetime warranties and, in some cases, large debts. Though Wenzel asserted that claims against his companies were inflated as his company only installed 740 roofs during its tenure in Hawaii; he did however, agree to pay $1.2 million in cash and a range of $15,000 to $17,000 a month for the next eight years to settle the class action suit filed by Hawaiian consumers.
