Cary, NC: (Mar-09-07) Eleven-year-old Nicholas Foley spent 40 days in a hospital after he suffered near fatal and life-changing injuries after being mauled by three pit bulls in 2005. A lawsuit filed against dog owners Scott Sword and Catherine Doyle in McHenry County court reached settlement with Sword and Doyle agreeing to pay the boy $100,000.
