Minot, ND: (Mar-21-07) Frederick W. Keiser Jr., of Minot, ND was convicted by a jury of bilking North Dakota and Minnesota investors. The charges against the former commodities broker included 22 counts of wire fraud, money laundering, and conspiracy. In a settlement reached, Keiser agreed to forfeit more than $3.8 million in cash and assets. He may also be ordered to pay restitution in conspiracies that garnered more than $16 million from investors lured to two high-yield, no-risk schemes.
