Stroger Hospital and Cook County, IL

Chicago, IL: (Apr-20-07) The family of Dorota Spyrka filed a medical negligence and malpractice lawsuit against Stroger Hospital and Cook County after her death while at the hospital in June 2000. Spyrka came to Stroger Hospital suffering from pneumonia; she developed a pulmonary embolism and died after a doctor cut off the drug helping her recover.
