James Henry Rhone
McKinney, TX: (May-23-07) The Grayson County Sheriff's Office filed charges against James Henry Rhone, 45, a McKinney dentist, after investigations confirmed that he was guilty of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy in March 2005. The incident took place on Rhone's boat at Lake Texoma over the Easter weekend, where the teen and his 22-year-old sister were vacationing with Rhone and his boyfriend. After several beers, the teen passed out, though he claimed to have been aware of Rhone molesting him. The boy testified that Rhone's attention was unprovoked and unwanted. Rhone pleaded guilty to the charge that he sexually assaulted the teen and testified that he knew the boy's age and level of intoxication when he pulled the boy's swim trunks down and performed oral sex on him.
Rhone's 25-year-old boyfriend walked in and stopped the dentist's assault on the boy and informed the sister. When the incident was reported to the Grayson County Sheriff's Office, an investigator sent the boy to the hospital to have DNA collected and the DNA matched a sample from Rhone, confirming the allegations. Rhone paid the siblings $250,000 in a civil settlement. [HERALD DEMOCRAT: TEENAGER MOLESTATION]
