Owensboro, KY: (Jun-14-07) Disaster Team Incorporated and other clean up and repair companies brought a lawsuit against Executive Inn, Owensboro's largest hotel, over costs incurred during the repair of a fire that damaged 200 rooms. In a settlement reached, Owensboro's Executive Inn was ordered to pay close to $1.5 million to Disaster Team Incorporated and other clean up and repair companies to end the lawsuit. The settlement compounds the hotel's already existing financial woes, as it still faces the possibility of foreclosure for not making payments on its $10.7 million mortgage.
