Concord, NH: (Nov-21-07) The state brought charges against Timken Aerospace, a Lebanon company, alleging that it violated federal norms. The suit claimed that the company burned waste oil for six months in 2006 without a permit. It also stated that Timken Aerospace burned waste oil that did not meet certain specifications and did not submit emission reports or pay emission fees on time. Though the company did not admit to the allegations or admit any liability, it agreed to pay $154,000, as well as implement an environmental management system.
