Bend City, OR: (Feb-07-08) Juniper Ridge Partners brought charges against Bend City, over issues pertaining to the development of Juniper Ridge. In a recent development in the case, sources revealed that the parties had reached a settlement in which the city agreed to pay Juniper Ridge Partners $2.56 million, which includes planning, marketing and legal expenses to date. The payout will be made to cover expenses related to complete the Master Plan and provide ownership of the Master Plan to the city. Sources claimed that the master developer relationship with Juniper Ridge Partners will cease at this time, along with the terms outlined in the Memorandum of Understanding. City officials stated that the City Council has agreed to accept Juniper Ridge Partners' offer and directed city legal staff and management to implement the agreement.
