Sean Combs Assault
Los Angeles, CA: (Mar-25-08) Gerard Rechnitzer brought a lawsuit against celebrity rapper Sean Combs, alleging that he was punched and pushed by the star during a February 2008 altercation in Los Angeles. Rechnitzer stated that he was intentionally, willfully, knowingly and unlawfully attacked, assaulted and battered, which resulted in his flying backward and hitting a parked vehicle. The suit also claimed that Combs made advances at Rechnitzer's girlfriend and screamed threats at him. Combs denied the allegations, stating that they lacked merit.
Sources stated that Combs agreed to a settlement, which is speculated to be upwards of $25,000. Combs has been in the news earlier over Chuck Phillips' allegations that Combs help orchestrate a 1994 robbery of Tupac Shakur.
