Fresno to Pay $2.3 Million in Homeless Persons' Class Action Settlement
This is a settlement for the Civil / Human Rights lawsuit.
The city of Fresno, CA, will pay $2.3 million settlement in a class action suit brought against it by homeless residents of the city. The suit alleged that the city's clean-up the streets policy violated the fourteenth amendment rights of the homeless citizenry, which provides for due process, and protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.
