Toronto Man Awarded $17 Million
This is a settlement for the Personal Injury lawsuit.
An Ontario appeals court has upheld a record $17 million settlement awarded to an accident victim in Toronto.
Robert Marcoccia, was 20 years old at the time of the accident in 2000. He suffered brain damage as a result of running a red light and hitting a furniture delivery truck while it was trying to make a left turn. Marcoccia was driving a truck leased from Ford Motor Credit LLC, who is the defendant.
