Michelin Settles Personal Injury for $11.9 Million

Michelin tire company must pay $11.9 million as settlement in the case of a head-on crash that killed 6 children and injured 3 others.

According to lawyers for the plaintiffs, a Michelin tire allegedly detreaded because of water damage that occurred at the factory. In 2006, Jesus Guzman Reyes was driving his pickup truck with his wife and 3 children. He lost control and struck an oncoming sport utility vehicle that was carrying the 6 children.
