Ambassadors Group Settles Securities Class Action for $7.5M
This is a settlement for the Securities/Stock Fraud lawsuit.
Spokane, WA: A $7.5 million settlement deal has been signed by Spokane-based Ambassadors Group, to settle a securities class action brought by investors in 2009.
The suit was filed with a New Jersey electrical workers pension fund as the lead plaintiff. A year later the suit was amended, with the national Plumbers Union Local No. 12 pension fund becoming the lead plaintiff in a class-action suit. The allegations included misleading investors about the state of the company's finances.
