Popchips Consumer Fraud Class Action Lawsuit Settlement Reached
Kansas City, MO: A preliminary nationwide settlement has been reached in the consumer fraud class action lawsuit pending against Popchips Inc, (Tonya Kelly, et al. v Popchips Inc., Case No. 1316-CV11037, ). If approved, the settlement would resolve allegations that Popchips engaged in false and misleading labeling in the marketing of its "popchips"brand snack products, specifically by claiming the products are "all natural"and "healthier."
Eligible class members include residents of the US who purchased certain "Popchips"brand snack products between January 1 2007 and November 14, 2013. Eligible class members may receive either "popchips" vouchers worth up to $20.00 or a cash payment of up to $10.00. The settlement amount will be based, in part, on the amount of "popchips"brand snack products each individual purchased between January 1, 2007 and November 14, 2013.
