According to the news source, the case stems from Mabry's alleged acceptance of kickbacks from April 2004 through September 2006. Mabry reportedly admitted to accepting between $5,000 and $10,000 in hotel and other expenses from the two men.
The Detroit Free Press reports that Mabry was recently released from prison after serving time for allegedly getting discounts from contractors working on his home.
