Former NHL hockey player Rob Ray filed a lawsuit against the union after it classified him as retired and denied him the $5,000 and $10,000 monthly lockout stipends paid to other players. Ray was awarded a $70,000 settlement. (Sep-29-05) [BUFFALO NEWS]
