David Chapleau worked as a Social Services director for nineteen years. Nine employees filed complaints with the Department of Workforce Development's Equal Rights Division claiming Chapleau created a hostile work environment. Chapleau alleged the child support claim company was improperly billing the state of Wisconsin. The county has agreed to pay Chapleau $152,000 to resign and another $100,000 in severance pay.
