Convergys Corp.

The U.S. Department of Labor filed a lawsuit on behalf of approximately 1,400 current and former Tucson call center employees who worked for the company between September 2002 and April 2005. The lawsuit claimed Convergys failed to compensate workers for time they spent at work preparing for their shift. The company has agreed to pay a $350,000 settlement to cover back wages for pre-shift work. (Feb-27-06) [ARIZONA STAR NET]
