LAWSUITS NEWS & LEGAL INFORMATION
Town of Mount Olive
Craig Odom filed a law suit in July 2004 alleging that he was sexually harassed by a co-worker during the course of his employment with Mount Olive Emergency Services. The town recently announced that they would pay $41,750 to settle a lawsuit brought against it by the former employee.
The suit contended that the harassment created a "hostile work environment" and that repeated reports by Odom to his supervisor went unanswered. It was also alleged he was fired from his employment as a result of his repeated complaints about the misconduct. (Apr-24-06) [NEWS ARGUS]
