Standish, ME: High school principal, Dennis Haut filed a lawsuit against Standish-Sterling Community Schools after administrators demoted him. The former principal claimed the district violated his contract and denied him due process. An Arenac County jury voted to award Haut $103,000 and then the district agreed to pay Haut a $130,000 final settlement. (Nov-30-06)
