America West Airlines

Los Vegas, NV: (Feb-26-07) The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed suit against America West Airlines alleging several female airline employees were harassed by a male supervisor. The supervisor, not named, allegedly made sexual comments and touched and rubbed female employees at work at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas. Though America West did not admit to wrongdoing, it agreed to a settlement of $100,000, a change in recruitment and hiring policies and to hold managers accountable for equal employment practices.
