Wrongful Termination
Campbellsville, KY: (Nov-12-07) Sandra Bailey, a former employee, brought charges against the Campbellsville Water Co., alleging that she was wrongfully terminated. The suit, filed in July 2004 sought compensation for lost wages, emotional distress, and damages. Bailey claimed that she had been working for the Water Co. for more than three years when her employment was terminated in December 2003. She filed suit in the Circuit Court a year later.
As part of a settlement reached, sources confirmed that in March 2006, a jury awarded Sandra Bailey $208,233 in damages.
