Breach of Contract
This is a settlement for the Commercial lawsuit.
Hebron, OH: (Mar-17-08) Stephen E. Pomeroy, former President and CEO of Pomeroy IT Solutions, Inc., a provider of IT infrastructure solutions focused on enterprise, network and end-user technologies, brought charges against the company, alleging that it had breached his employment contract when he was wrongly fired.
In its defense, Pomeroy IT Solutions stated that the termination was due to certain conduct and actions, none of which involved any financial impropriety or illegal actions. The firing was a result of findings made by an independent counsel hired by the board. Stephen Pomeroy sued after his Jul. 3, 07 firing, seeking millions of dollars in salary, bonuses and stock, alleging that other executives at the company engaged in conduct that was worse than what he was accused of.
Following several mediated sessions, sources announced that the two sides had reached a settlement agreement, resolving the breach of contract spat. Stephen Pomeroy, son of the company's founder David Pomeroy, agreed to resolve his lawsuit, filed in the Boone County Circuit Court, with an undisclosed settlement.
