Serial Harassment

Little Rock, AR: (Apr-01-08) The US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) brought charges against Dillard's, the Little Rock, AR based department store chain, alleging that several of its employees faced sexual harassment while on the job.

The suit was brought by the EEOC on behalf of 12 former female employees, who accused the store's manager of sexually harassing them in Palmdale, CA, and later at a Westminster, CO, store. The suit claimed that the same man harassed the women at both stores and was accused of two incidents in CO and then fired. Reportedly, Dillard's did not notify the CO store about this man's sexual harassment in CA at the time of his transfer to CO.

Sources stated that the two sides had reached a settlement in the case, in which the department-store chain agreed to pay the women $500,000, resolving allegations. Apart from the monetary payout, the settlement stipulated that the store give workers and managers sexual harassment training. Dillard's will also provide training for managers to investigate harassment claims. [TAMPA BAY ONLINE: DILLARD'S TO PAY $500,000 TO SETTLE HARASSMENT LAWSUIT]

Given from the lawsuits and comments I believe God's not done punishing this company. My best advice to those that apply to work for this company, make it short term while you find a better place to work for. God doesn't like ugly, and this company has ruined many lives. I regret walking through their doors, it really tested my faith in God, they violated all my civil and human rights and got away with it. God forgive them, I still cry when I think of the horrors of working for Dillards.
