Ruby Tuesday Restaurants Settle Age Discrimination Class Action Lawsuit

Pittsburgh, PA: The restaurant chain Ruby Tuesday, Inc. has agreed to pay $575,000 in settlement of an age discrimination
class action lawsuit brought by The U.S Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
The settlement will end the federal age discrimination lawsuit brought against five locations in Pennsylvania, specifically in West Mifflin, Greensburg, Altoona, Du Bois, and Indiana, and in Beachwood, Ohio.
Filed in 2009, the EEOC lawsuit alleged that Ruby Tuesday engaged in age discrimination against job applicants 40 years of age or older.
